Shelltrack 2015 day at the race!

Shelltrack 2015 race this year was a great time for all of us that attended! 4 riders from Door County participated in the race on Saturday and completed both races with some good finishes and without injury! Mike Jones took a second place and what should have been a 1st. place “technicaly” in the dash for cash 1st lap as stated by race officials. Mike went on to finish the race with a close second place finish over all in the first race of the day.  DCSSA riders finished in the top 10 riders in the single rider race and 4th in the relay after Randy broke a chain on the second lap of the relay. Paul, Mike and Randy participated in the relay that ended after a total of 2 hours on Saturday. Randy rejoined the race again after repairing the chain with the help from a  spectator that offered the use of some parts to complete the repair and rejoined the race never missed his lap duties in the race. Racers Michael Jones, Paul Neuvelle, Tom Parsons, Randal Sahs raced with the support of Lynn Michelsen. Weather condition and trail conditions couldn’t have been more ideal, making it a great weekend for a fat bike race!
